WOW I apologize for the weeks-long hiatus I’ve been on! With finals and relocating to the Bay, I’ve had a lot on my plate–including catching up on sleep! This is the first time I’ve really been in the Bay this long, so I took it up on me to completely re-decorate my room, as well. Now, THAT took a lot out of me! I moved around furniture and (much to my unwillingness) purged my closet of all the clothes I haven’t worn in a while. Stay tuned on my Insta @thestreetkat for photos!

I did this photoshoot with Gordon from Hex F right before I left the PNW. We got permission to shoot inside a fountain that was drained for cleaning that day which was super interesting. And I know, I know–black in the summer?? Shoot, anything is possible, man. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I am super obsessed with monochrome, black and white, grayscale, and all things related–no matter what the season! Something about the crispness of the clean contrast between black and white makes me feel all satisfied inside. Sure, not gonna lie you may attract more heat but just choose cuts and materials that function more loosely and are breathable in the summer sun. Make it your own using your personal style and you’re good to go!
