Working backstage at Seattle Metropolitan Fashion Week was exactly what I thought it would be. And it was awesome.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity of working backstage at Seattle Metropolitan Fashion Week with my La Mode girls! It was my first time getting to be behind-the-scenes of a major fashion show, and what an experience it was. It was hectic, intense, and a little competitive at times, but what would the fashion industry be without all these elements? I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my work–simply because I got to be a part of something I’m passionate about!
The designers I got to work with backstage included the extremely talented Julie Danforth and David Tupaz. I did things like steaming and ironing dresses, helping the models out with dressing, and, basically, helping out with anything else the designers pointed us out to do backstage–typical backstage worker stuff. But, you know what Drake says, “started from the bottom now we here”.
